Announcements for the Week of July 12, 2020
We have commenced with in-person worship. While we will continue to stream our services online, we are extending an invitation for you to join us in-person as we worship and praise God. The details of the worship service can be found on our website www.tabernacleofpraisedallas.org. All members are asked to notify the church, through the website, if you will be joining us for in-person worship. We will continue bible study on Wednesday nights at 7pm, however, Sunday church school will now be held on Saturdays (12 noon for youth and 1pm for Adults), both via Zoom meetings. See login details on T. O.P. website and Facebook page.
It is time to celebrate 26 years with our Pastor and First Family! On Saturday, July 18th at 11:45am, we will have a special Appreciation Parade, where all members and guests can show drive-thru appreciation to our first family. Shine up and decorate your vehicles with messages of love, and meet us at the Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church (7031 Forney Rd, Dallas, TX 75227) at 11:30am, then we will honor our first family with a parade of appreciation. On Sunday, July 19th at 9:45 am, we will have our Pastor & Family Appreciation service. Pastor Kerry O. Sharp of the New Hope Baptist Church in Stafford, TX will be our guest. All T.O.P. members are asked for a special offering of $100, and all T.O.P. Ministries are asked for $500. Please join us for a time to honor our Pastor and First Family and to show them just how much they mean to us.
Due to the ongoing precautions being taken to prevent the continued spread of the coronavirus, our church calendar is officially on hold. We currently have no engagements or visits scheduled until further notice.
Pastor Sharp’s message, “When You Reach the End of Your Rope”, (II Kings 4:1-7), reminded us that God knows our problems, God releases our potential, and God gives our provisions. All on-line services can be viewed on the T. O. P. website. You may also call the church and order a copy for yourself, family, or friends today for only $6.
Please note: In-person attendees are now required to wear a mask or other face coverings while in the church facility.
May the grace of our Lord be with you always!
Water For The Thirsty Heart
If you’re hurting today or know someone who’s hurting, remember:
Psalm 30:5 “Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy comes in the morning.”
Sometimes our nights seem so very long,
but MORNING is on the way. Be encouraged
