Announcements for the Week of November 10, 2019
This morning we celebrate our Family and Friends Day. We welcome our local family and friends as well as our family and friends from the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church from Wichita Fallas, TX, where Dr. Robert Castle is pastor. All T.O.P. members are asked for a love offering of $35. We pray that you will enjoy this spirit-filled fellowship.
Join us for Prayer/Praise and Proclamation on Wednesday night at 6:15pm. The Continuing Education Ministry will lead this week. On next week, the Voices of T.O.P. will be in charge.
The 2019 NMBCA Leadership Summit will be held at T.O.P. this week (Tues-Thurs). We are in need of courtesy drivers to transport attendees to and from the airport. Please sign up on the list on the table in the foyer if you are interested or contact Sis. Barbara Patterson (you will be asked to provide a copy of your driver's license and insurance card).
The Senior Saints Breakfast will be held Saturday, November 16 @ 9:00am. Deacon Larry Nelson is asking for donations of $12.00 from anyone that would be willing to support this event. Donations should be given to Deacon Nelson. Checks should be made out to Tabernacle of Praise.
The administrative offices will be closed November 28-29 in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Mark your calendars for our Annual Church Conference, December 2 at 7pm. Bring your best dish as we feast on food and what God has in store for T.O.P. in 2020.
On Sunday, December 8, at 9:45 am, we will celebrate our Pastor's Support Annual Day. Each adult member is asked to contribute $30.00 and each youth is asked to contribute $5.00. All T.O.P. members are encouraged to be here as we show our Pastor just how much we love and appreciate him. If you are writing a check, make your check payable to "Dr. Anthony E. Sharp I".
Pastor Sharp's message, "The Story of a Suffering Church" (Revelations 2:8-11), shined a spotlight on a crushed church, a consistent church, and a comforted church. Pick up a copy for yourself, family or friends today. CD's of all worship services are available from the audio ministry for only $6.
Let us continue to keep our sick, homebound and bereaved family members in our prayers. Kayla Briggs' grandmother passed on last week (arrangements pending). Let us remember the POWER of prayer as we lift our petitions up to God.
